Strawberry, Chocolate & Muesli Smoothie

Muesli, just love adding them in most of my drinks now, just to have my dose of fibre as they are loaded with my favourite wholegrain 'Oats' and dry fruits. Since ever we enjoyed thoroughly in smoothies and shakes, i couldnt resist to add them in most of my breakfast smoothie. Though am not a breakfast person, i love to grab and have a glass of smoothie without any fuss, this way i can finish my breakfast quickly without missing the goodness of fruits and wholegrains. Coming to my today's smoothie, i prepared this breakfast smoothie for my kids for their brunch as we are in vacation. When its vacation, nothing will happen at time, sometime we skip even our breakfast and go directly to lunch. But this time i dont want my kids to skip their breakfast and opted for this breakfast smoothie.

Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chips Puffs

My kids are ardent fans of peanut butter and chocolate, obviously if i bake anything with peanut butter or with chocolate chips or else with both together, they will be double happy and enjoy having those bakes without any guilt. One among those baked goodies i have tried recently is this super flaky puffs which is simply stuffed with a teaspoon of smooth peanut butter which i topped with chocolate chips. This puffs goes for easy baking as well, this incredibly flaky puffs gets ready easily within 15-20minutes. Trust me, this puffs are seriously very dangerously addictive and kids will definitely go crazy if they saw this super flaky puffs.

Red Banana & Bourbon Biscuits Milk

Again an interesting drink i have prepared with red banana is this simple and highly healthy drink along with my favourite childhood bourbon biscuits. Bananas, this fruit can be added to anything you want to drink.Addition of bananas to anything gives excellent frothy and creamy texture, obviously i love to add bananas in most of the drinks i prepare. Bananas are not only rich in potassium, they also contains manganese, copper, vitamin B6 and pectin which is a type of fiber helps to heal stomach ulers etc. This Red banana milk came out extremely creamy, frothy, filling and a great alternative to your usual drink.Technically this drink is not milkn though it sounds like a shake you can drink this milk without any fuss for your breakfast.

Red Banana Icecream Shake

Red Banana, i got a chance to enjoy this fruit during my India trip last year, it was a peak season of this fruit while i was in India, obviously i dont want to miss to make some interesting drinks out of this incredible fruit. This fruits have more beta carotene and vitamin C than the yellow Bananas. Its also contains potassium and iron. The redder the fruit, this fruit have more carotene and high in vitamin C. As much as like yellow bananas, red bananas are frequently eaten whole or chopped and added to most of the time in desserts and salads. Though red bananas are easily available, they are usually sold in dried form.

Beetroot Thoran/Kerala Style Beetroot Stir Fry

Kerala style of stir fries are well known for their simplicity and obviously for the flavors. They are just loaded with grated coconut which asks for a grounded mixture along with shallots, cumin seeds and green chillies/chilly powder. I have already prepared beetroot thoran couple of times but as usual i have completely forgotten to click some pictures and post in my space. While i cooked some beetroot thoran few weeks back, i clicked few pictures to save them here. As am running this week's blogging marathon with Anti inflammatory foods as theme, this stir fry sounds quite prefect to post under this theme. Beetroots are excellent anti inflammatory vegetables. Kesar Milk Halwa/Saffron Milk Halwa

Milk Halwa aka Thiratti paal is my most favourite sweets among all varieties of milk sweets exists in our Indian cuisine. Though thiratti paal asks for a long cooking process, i dont mind to make this ultimate sweet at home whenever i feel like having few spoons. Trust me i have even spend more than half an hour for cooking two cups of milk to get this beautiful sweet. I love it that much, my neighbour gave me full fat organic milk few days back as her daughter owns a organic farm. Obviously i couldnt resist to make my favourite thiratti paal with that organic milk.Actually thiratti paal is almost like paal khova but lemon juice is added in final stage of cooking to make this halwa.Nothing can beat this fantastic milk sweet, enjoy it at room temperature or chilled, all will definitely fallen in love with this sweet.

Minapa Sunnundalu/Urad Dal Laddoo

Sunnundalu, this sweet is quite a popular one in Andhra, with just three ingredients you can make this healthy sweet in a jiffy. Sunnundalu or minapasunni is quite a healthy sweet, urad dal are in rich in iron and its quite advise to feed young gals with this laddoo. One small ball every morning will definitely keep you away from the lower back pain problem. This laddoo helps a lot in increasing haemoglobin levels in blood and makes the bone strong. Though my today's post goes for urad dal laddoo with sugar, some makes this cute balls with jaggery. Laddoo made with jaggery are more healthier than the sugar, however this laddoos are dangerously delicious coz of the use of ghee.

Basundi - How to make Basundi

Basundi is a one among the popular milk based dessert you can easily find in most of the marriage menu.
